Volkswagen Passat Alltrack

Volkswagen has unveiled the Passat Alltrack, a new off-road oriented model with the estate model. It should continue sale in early 2012.

Based on the estate model, the Passat Alltrack was created to fill the gap amongst a conventional wagon and a SUV, and can be positioned in the portion amongst the Passat Estate and also the Tiguan.

The Alltrack is focused to consumers who need to utilize their relatives motor vehicle also as a towing automobile, possibly light off-road cases.

Compared with the normal Passat, the brand new model is characterized by new bumpers in SUV style - with wheel very well and aspect sill flares, a greater off-road ramp angle, approach angle, departure angle and better floor clearance.

The variety of readily available engines will consist of two turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines (TSI) with 118 kW / 160 PS and 155 kW / 210 PS and two turbodiesels (TDI) - with 103 kW / 140 PS and 125 kW / 170 PS .

The Passat Alltrack is likely to make its debut on the Tokyo Motor Display and with the Italian Motor Indicate in Bologna, both equally open from 3 to eleven December 2011. The market kick off is predicted for early 2012.
